There her self-doubt led to her stopping playing soccer. She then transferred into California State University Fullerton, where she graduated with an associate degree in business administration. Then she moved back to Los Angeles after completing her studies to pursue a model or acting career. While in the city of Los Angeles she came through an advertisement to audition for W.W.E. After impressing talent scouts, she was offered a 4 week trial period. Then, in Orlando Florida she started her exercise with the Performance Center. Then, in May of 2013, she joined The Total Divas W.W.E reality T.V. show. After that, she colored her hair red and donned the name Eva Marie. W.W.E. went through many fluctuations and changes. she left her contract in 2017 and although she briefly returned in 2021 and 2020, she's not signed with the W.W.E. anymore.
